Lewis & Healey | A creative, relaxed wedding at The Barras Business Art and Design Centre, BAaD, Glasgow city wedding
Lewis and Healey’s wedding is the perfect example of why I love doing city centre weddings, especially when they end up being this awesome. Its no secret that I’m a bit of a fan girl of Healey’s - she’s an effortlessly cool girl who works in publishing and is incredibly creative on the side. She also won when putting her outfit together as she not only found her dream Grace Loves Lace dress second hand but also won her wedding bouquet in an instagram competition. She sported a seasonal flower crown from Blooms Glasgow and wore a Lines and current necklace, bespoke Sarah Brown engagement ring and a Caroline Gordon wedding wring…talk about shopping local.
Lewis and Healey’s ceremony at Re:Hope church was full of laughter, colour and celebration and finished off with cake and drinks while we snuck off for a coffee at Fika coffee shop just around the corner. The day continued at maybe my new favourite venue - BAaD in The Barras, what a place. Big enough for the biggest of parties it was so perfect for the long banqueting tables and ceilidh later in the evening.
My favourite part of the day? Watching Healey and Lewis serve all of their guests cake for dessert. Now thats a receiving line I can get on board with!
